Privacy Policy

BillSlate is designed as a local-first invoicing application. Invoice, estimate, client and payment records are stored on your device unless you explicitly use an available cloud-backup feature.

Data we process

Account sign-in may process your email address, account identifier and display name through Firebase Authentication. Google and Apple sign-in are processed by their respective identity services. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google; BillSlate does not receive your full payment-card details.

Business records

Business records may include company identity, tax identifiers, client contact details, invoice items, payment records and logos. iOS cloud backup, when enabled by you, stores an account-scoped copy in Firebase. Android business records remain local until an Android backup feature is explicitly presented in the app.

Sharing and retention

BillSlate does not sell personal data. Data is shared only with service providers required for authentication, subscriptions and an explicitly requested cloud backup. Local records remain until removed from the device. Account and cloud data can be deleted from the in-app account controls, subject to recent-authentication requirements.

Your choices

You can use the app offline, sign out, delete your account, and avoid optional cloud backup. You are responsible for obtaining permission to store your clients’ personal data and for complying with applicable invoicing, tax and retention laws.
